No Change

Who's John Galt.

So far somewhat better but not optimum.

The issue is what is considered transparent and what SHOULD be transparent to still be within the confines of the argument.

Should, as an example, the stress tests results of the TARP banks be 100% transparent when that would provide several unintended results 1) competitive information to other banks, 2) information for the uninformed to draw erroneous conclusions which could jeopardize the very stability that the reports were analyzing or at least cause useless churn 3) malicious manipulation based on knowing everything that is under the hood.

Very good start. History indicates that the administration begins looking paranoid about 1/2 way through the second term. I'll bet it will be sooner for this one, but I have no evidence for that.

The biggest problems we are facing right now have to do with George Bush trying to bring more and more power into the executive branch and not go through Congress at all and that’s what I intend to reverse.

~ Senator Barack H. Obama

There are a few things I am not happy with Congress about, and I am disappointed Obama did not bite the bullet and release everything about torture they had, but in general, they have been a refreshing break from eight years of Bush-era paranoia and propaganda game playing.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

-President Barack Obama, 1st Inaugural address

Easy, just open a new account and if you don't get banned for two accounts you can consolidate them into the second one.
