Who said anything about the Roman Empire being Jewish?
Jimmy, you need to learn thing or two about the Roman Empire.
It was you who implied that the Roman Empire, had it not "adopted" Christianity, would have passed on some kind of other horror on the modern civilization of today that would be worse than what we have now. My question was in the context of your statement, which you conveniently forgot when you typed out your reply above. Your statement was:
"Without Christianity all of this crap would still be very accepted and tolerated behavior.
Just think about this for a moment my friends.
Imagine Roman Empire did not accept Christianity as the State religion
So, if the Roman Empire elected not to "accept" Christianity, it might very well have "accepted" another religion. Say, the Jewish faith. What then? What specifically are you proposing? That we have child molesters in high concentrations in the Christian places of worship - not evenly distributed throughout the population - and for some reason we are to be grateful for that gift from Christianity which we have received through the bounty of the Roman Empire? And if they had "accepted" another religion the situation we have today would somehow be different, and presumably worse? I postulated that the Roman Empire might have selected the Jewish faith instead of Christianity, and asked you to identify what the difference in our present day attitudes towards child molestation might be. Try it with several ancient religions. Or better, check this out:

to get a better perspective on where all this "Christian" mumbo jumbo came from that you think is holding us back from wholesale rape of our children.
