1. Man comes to buy my '98 STS with money already down. Says he smells oil (no one else can, nor can I, nor does it have any oil burning issues) and worries and frets non stop about the car. I asked him what is he doing looking at a 93k mile Cadillac in the first place if he knows that little about cars? Go get a Honda or Acura I advise. I refund him the money.
2. I go to get lunch for the three workers doing maintenance on the house. While in line at McDonald's, at the order stand, a beggar asks for some money. I tell him nicely no. He sprays me with a fuck you and storms off. Nice I think to myself sarcastically.
3. On the way home from said McDonald's I drive down Canyon (very popular tourist street in Santa Fe) as it is on the way back to my house. I have driven and walked Canyon well over 100 times. I pass a man on the street walking my direction. He is not on the sidewalk, but that is no big deal as many are not. I pass with a foot or two to spare at around 10 mph. He gives me the finger. I stop the car and ask why. He screams I was going too fast. I said I was going around 10 mph!!?? He...

takes a fucking punch at me through the open car window. Luckily he is slow and uncoordinated. I lean back against my headrest and he misses. All I feel is air. I put the car in park and get out. I shove him against the wall and ask him what the fuck is he thinking? He starts spewing and screaming and yelling and waving his arms hysterically. I realize he is more than a little batty, whether just today or in general is anyone's guess. Also a crowd is gathering, so I simply tell the man he has some real serious issues he needs to look into and drive off.
We're not done yet...
As I putter off in the Lexus at less than 10 mph I hear a yell. He is trying to run and is chasing me. I am guessing he could be around 45 to 55 yrs. old, and not in the best health. I contemplate stopping again, but this is ridiculous. I drive on. He can't even catch a less than 10 mph car. I lose sight of him within a few blocks. As I pull up to a stop sign within 2 blocks of my house I see a cop stopped at the opposite corner. I think it very nice on my part not to report the man to that cop. I drive on and put the car back in the garage and take lunch to the workers.
