Everyone's analogies here are worthless. The government stepped in and has spent precious money to bailout a system that will not ever work.
YES we should have let the companies fail and let the jobs go away. That happened in the past but funny how the country grew stronger and people learned new skills.
It of course will be hard, but why should government spend money on some private businesses because they deem them to important to fail and not others?
America is a country that runs on the entrepreneurship of its individuals. We have now entered a cycle with this administration and congress where it is ok for Government to takeover a private company and dictate how to run it.
Funny how government has never been able to run itself efficiently but they think they know how to run a business.
