I did a series of test on the car today with no progress in identifying what's wrong with it.
This time I stuck a fuel pressure gauge in the fuel distributor test outlet while adjusting the EHA and the lambda tower.
Throughout the test the pressure remained the same so I know that I don't have a problem with the pump, filter, fuel pressure regulator, fuel accumulator or the fuel pump relay.
I measured the current across the EHA and that sucker would sometimes go all the way to 10mA on the rich side. When ignition is on and engine is off, the lambda test ports #3 & #2 would sometimes register no voltage while my scope is showing nothing as well. Sometimes it would show over 6V while I get a square wave on my scope.
Once the engine is one if the signal at Lambda wasn't there it may show up later after a small engine surge. The duty cycle would be around 50%.
Anyway, no matter what settings I moved the EHA and the tower to the car would eventually stall if I can get it started. Sometimes the car start right up and sometimes it takes a few cranking before it starts.
Anyway, I will try again if any of you may have a better idea on how to proceed.
