Stay Alive, Stay Away from ML-SUV

American made Jeep and Chevy SUV are both stands for high durability and reliability. However, Mercedes Benz is not. American Made Mercedes were always famous for it's quality problem. 11 years ago, a ML320 crashed on a freeway and no airbag came out, 5 death at that scene. But today, as we can see, ML,GL,R class are also bad for it's reliability, as you can see below, no more words to tell... Just see those pic and videos now......

video
ML
ÑĮ̀ÉÏÑÝÅ£À*±¼³Û -56ÍøÊÓƵ

Jan,2009, a man used 250,000$ purchased a GL450, wonderful driving experience is what he should get, however, it is not. The GL450 fixed 14 times with in 3 months. More awful thing happened while he drove in a swinging county road, the vehicle totally lost direction control, no matter how hard he turn his steering wheel, there's no reaction. Fortunately, the GL's brake was still good. Governmental investigation established towards this incident. The result was the steering pump exploded. Another report shows that GL450's steering bar is 20% less stiff compare to the national standard. The customer of the GL450 rent trucks which carried banners with words "Mercedes Benz are all junks" and parked in front of the Mercedes Benz office building.

March, 2009, another guy used 180,000$ bought a ML350, when he drove on highway, the front windshield fell down.... The man called TV station and made that video shows that ML needs to use an animal to tow to a dealer to be fixed(MB offers free towing service, but their can choose not to do so if anyone's did anything which they don't think it's nice to see....)

April,2009, a family ordered two R300 from a dealer. Within 2 weeks, one of those R-class visited dealer 7 times dues to different problems.

Nov, 2007, a woman bought a new ML350, but brake problems made her to through this "junk" away. The ML350 lost braking force twice in city driving condition.

We choose Mercedes Benz because smart persons designed them to save driver's life, unfortunately, folks who built them didn't follow this routine, hence no one can trust this brand anymore.....

Well I found that amusing, when the chinese learn how to drive and operate their cars properly then I would look at design faults. I could tell you some nightmare stories about their driving and their excuses for a repair, but I do not wish to offend anyone.

Do not blame the Manufacturer for faults in design etc when you do not know how to use it and your techs do not know how to fix it. Or the workshop cheats you, its all a part of chinese culture.

I know you can read and write chinese so I am sure you understand the cheating that goes on here. Do not paint a bad picture on the star for the lack of knowledge/understanding and cheating of these people. Thanks for reading this.

ERIC.

Well... things are so wired in China about automobiles imported from America.......

Jeep's Grand Cherokee was the top selling SUV from 1991 to 2001, it's sells had been impacted by Mitsubishi in the starting of 2000, but it still sells very good... When I first talking about grand Cherokee in America last year, I have been amused by people here in San Francisco by saying that Grand Cherokee isn't good...

I have something more to let you see in later days. I have telephone voice records and paper works from Mercedes Dealers in San Francisco area. Now I don't have time to making article about those crabs I met in MB dealers here in U.S.. I will write them all together and post them on XCAR.COM.CN There's no nationalistic emotions from my words, I'm just telling everything I know of about how Mercedes Benz's attitude treat our customers far in the east. You can't find those pictures or videos which blames Mercedes Benz-USA, probably they had been all deleted by MBUSA on youtube or other English oriented website. But of course they can do nothing on Chinese website...........

PS: Don't be mean to our society, we have no culture of what you've said and China is the country which to friendly to German and American cars over 30 years.....

I dont mean to be in any way offensive to the greater chinese people, but I know what many of the dealers and other workshops get up to and it is not good. The pictures you posted were taken in china.

I do not like to see the good name of Mercedes Benz dragged through the dirt because a dealer has a bad attitude, so I actually agree, in part, with you.
I only wish that Mercedes Benz would take a page out of the VOLVO policy and take the bad dealers license away.

ERIC.

Steering boxes blowing up and windshields falling out aren't the fault of the dealer.
