Even though they are restricted from seeing the Administration, they are still able to see Members of Congress, both on the left and right to present their case for their particular issue.

I have no problem with lobbyists as long as they are not writing the legislation or are funding the Congressmen in any way. As long as they are simply advocating for their group, that should be well within their Constitutional rights.

The key is going to be removing their UNDUE INFLUENCE, not removing them.

I hate electronic banking with a passion. It is the most intrusive element of our new technology driven society. Carnivoresque database applications can see anything they want, with whatever frequency and fineness of comb is requested.

That is also the best part of electronic banking. If you become a public servant who is responsible for the public's money, you sign on to have full, complete and continuous auditing of your, your campaign, your PAC, and your family accounts. It would not be perfect, but it certainly would slow undue influence down.

^^^I was more thinking about specifically the writing of the legislation and the paybacks in other forms, like hiring wives, book deals and cold cash stored in your freezer of choice.....
