I am not remotely pissed. I am laughing at your excuses for not being able to back up your BS.
So why were you not banging this drum " Debt is a hole. When you are in debt, you stop digging. Unless you are the federal government. Not one dollar can be added to XXXXX at that level without borrowing it or printing it." when your boy Bushie was President?
"Nothing the feds have ever paid for has saved money" You sure about that? I sense yet another broad, sweeping statement which you are not able to support with proof. But I bet there will be plenty of waffling and mumbling and obfuscating and trying to change the subject...AGAIN.
Typical liberal, Bare. Defending Obama, by attacking Bush. When do you suppose you will admit that the big O owns the deficits/debt that he is adding? He finally admitted this week that He is out of money; when will you?
First, I wasn't attacking Bush. I was attacking his drone followers like you who sat mute, like a lump on a log while he ran up $5Trillion in National Debt. Please note that very significant difference. I was attacking the NeoCon right who were so utterly clueless that you allowed Bushie and the Republican Party free reign to do anything they liked based purely on the empty promise of a sugar cookie of "tax cuts", without thinking that you, your kids and grandkids were actually paying for those "tax cuts" with that deficit spending.
Regarding "out of money"
You obviously have not been reading what I write. I KNOW we are out of money. We have been since 1982. We have been deficit spending since then with only a few years of somewhat sane spending thanks to Clinton and Gingrich.
But what I also know is that there are sometimes you have to do things for which you have no choice. The economy got in such a bad shape, due to a cascade of errors, management decisions, deregulation failures, administration issues, bad calls at the top and just plain failure to see the problem for two years that NOW, we have no choice but to spend money.
About 25 years ago my parents house had a foundation crack that came up due to clay soil. Droughts and 17 below temps exacerbated the problem. At the time they had a mortgage on the house and had spent money putting in new windows, better insulation and upgrading the house. They had a lot of work in the house. But they were going to have to put more money into that house to rebuild the foundation. They just couldn't walk away from their investment and they couldn't let it crumble around them.
Sometimes we might not have the money but we might also not have the choice. We have to rebuild the foundation of this economy to make it strong again.
