@ Dig

When I first worked in the City, I walked down Threadneedle Street past the ' Old Lady' nearly every day. I recall a coin dealer shop, but not specifically an art emporium. Next time I'm up that way I'll check and take some photos for you.

( Actually, another of the D.C. still works up there but nowadays she's way too busy to rubberneck or take photos).

Thanks, I'll make a note of the complete info the next time I am in the vicinity of the print.

And, yes, a stop in at the Old Lady would be in order, as well.

The street is still there! One of the oldest in the City of London, and dating back to the 1400s. Famous as the home of the Bank of England - also known as 'The Old Lady of Threadneedle Street'

Not sure about the bookseller/art gallery. Tried Google Earth for a view?

I have to reverify the address information. Not really sure what I'd be looking for.

and along the bottom is a Threadneedle address from the late 1800's.

I always wonder if it's still there. If I ever crossed over for a visit, would absolutely make it a must see.
Why not go on Google Earth Street view and have a look.

What would we talk about if we just went about our own business without asking each other to do things for us on the internet?

Whenever Muslim business friends from the ME came for the Hannover fair and stayed nearby in our Steinhude house, no food store adhering to Islamic dietary laws could be found.
The shopping was done at a Kosher shop instead.
