Jeez, you really can't see the bell curve for as far left as you've gone, can you?
By your definition 62% is "this country"? So by that standard California loves straight marriage, since the majority voted for it? I'm sure that will comfort the gay community here.

At least read instead of infer: my post was about the humor in the thread title.

That said, it's a meaningless poll. Probably similar results from the first 100 days of every first term president.

The first (and last) hundred are mostly irrelevant anyway. It's the middle 1,261 that matter.

Very entertaining Biker! Sorry, no Drudge, Rush, cat, or Schlitz.

BTW, what's with the biker thing? Is that pedal or motorcycle?

You seem confused. Seldom do those who won or are on the side that beat those who lost act bitter.

I believe the word you are looking for is amusement.

"I think you are bitter" was not directed at you, he was talking to the sour grapes he is eating.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

Discussions like this give me a chuckle.

With lines like "America loves him" and "anything's an improvement over W" it appears that more than just peoples cloths gets washed around here.

I'm not "sour grapes" on who won the election. I did vote for McCain, but was aware that because of the way peoples opinions could be swayed he didn't stand much of a chance.

What I find rather dishearting is that the majority of the voting population voted for a guy who isn't even as qualified as myself to hold the highest office in the world.

If Obama wanted to impress me he would release who was behind the Kennedy assasination today. For those of you who loved Bill Clinton ..... he had the ability to do it, but signed an order to seal the files yet once again.

I's just gottsta know!
