Weird town names

How many of these towns have you visited? In my case, two. Jeehaw Junction, FL which is about 40 miles from me, and The Truth or Consequences in New Mexico.

Check also the "7 most bizarrely named US towns"

Boogertown, North Carolina takes the cake in my opinion.

I pass by this sign in Indiana all the time. There has to be something besides irony to it.

My favorites are "Would Fuck A Frog Hole, Arkansas" and "Rectal-Cranial Inversion, Iowa". Each have a population of one. Interestingly, it's the same person in both places.

I think Kentucky can kick that list's ass.

We have, in no particular order:

Bear Wallow [OK, I had to put that first]
Beaver Lick
BIG Beaver Lick
Big Bone Lick [we even have a state park by that name]
Black gnat
Bug
Cranks
Hazard
Gravelswitch
Jetson
Krypton
Monkey's Eyebrow [did they go to or come from Arizona?]
Rabbit Hash
POssum Trot
Pig
Penile
Peewee Valley [why is that next to Penile?]
Tyewhoppety
Viper
Vortex
Wolf Lick
Nonesuch
Chevrolet
Baptist
Bagdad
Bethleham
Versailles [pronounced VUR SALES]
Yosemite [of course pronounced Yosey Might]
And, maybe the best is the best. Pickard [where the Pickard Springs photograph was taken last week] is about a half mile from Shatner's 300 acre farm here. It seems appropriate.

McBear,
Kentucky

Being smart is knowing the difference, in a sticky situation between a well delivered anecdote and a well delivered antidote - bear.

There's always Blue Ball, and Intercourse, both in Pennsylvania, and a few more:

I have also passed through Lorida, Florida, and Howie-in-the Hills, Florida several times. Several teenagers murdered a homeless man in Howie-in-the Hills about a year ago.

Anybody on here from Ding Dong, Texas?
