Stand by him? The man doesn't even have the balls to stand by this country. Sorry but I don't want any pussy rubbing off on me if I get to close.
Where did he give away the store? Show me, oh, and please, don't use what you feel he might or might not do, just show me facts, outcomes and fait accomplis...

I like how we don't see what was happening before the Cop "Snapped."

Here is an alternative view.

Reporter pulls up on a scene, parked on the left hand shoulder of road where there is very little room, get's out and starts asking questions all around while the investigation is ongoing.

On top of that he starts conducting interviews of witnesses and these people start milling about on an obviously busy road, obviously there is a lot of traffic.

What if we weren't shown the part where the officer asked the crew to shut it down until things got calmed down? What if weren't shown the numerous requests to stop what they were doing because they were creating a safety hazard for motorists?

Every News Crew that I have seen on the scene of accidents has always set up very far away from the scene so as not to impede the action of the investigation or medical services or anything.

Did the cop over react? Probably. But the Cop was completely within his duties to ask the camera crew to get back in their truck. I just do not trust anyone in Media. They always have an agenda and the video was obviously edited to show the reporter in the best possible light.

The reporter's right to cover the scene does not extend to creating an unsafe situation for the Cop or the witnesses. Regardless if the witnesses aren't smart enough to stay out of oncoming traffic.

Who's John Galt.

I'm sorry I guess you believe that the media never exaggerates or does anything that could be called self aggrandizing.

I'm just saying that you shouldn't believe everything the media wants to tell you you should believe.

A healthy dose of skepticism in all things is a wise course of action.
