I never answer until 7 or 8 responses so I don't influence everyone (in either direction).

I goofed big time last time I read at the campus pool. It was summer at SMU and I was laying around the large outdoor pool catching some sun and reading my homework. Of course the SMU diving team was practicing. Of course I realized after 15 minutes that my book was upside down for that duration. I guess after that what use were the Ray Bans?

I have read the Levin book. I thought it was a ponderous exercise in navel staring. How many of the conservative/neocon/neoneocons are going to come out with a "revelations" tome.

A more interesting book, with some perspective is this

Amazon.com: American Gospel: God, the Founding Fathers, and the Making of a Nation: Jon Meacham: Books

also, to get perspective void of a wiki try

Amazon.com: The Defining Moment: FDR's Hundred Days and the Triumph of Hope: Jonathan Alter: Books

I have a longstanding policy to not read any books with a cover design that depicts the author standing before a Merkin flag --> bad ju ju

Any dreck-motif by Hannity automagically gets axed

Reading by the beach doesn't have to be all serious.

She looks pissed, that would be taking a chance. Look how the corn cob has been maliciously maligned.
