Bush was a truly poor joke played on the American populace. His consistantly low ratings revealed that while President. Only Nixon during Watergate scored lower. 'Nuff said.

Yet he was elected to two terms. Nuff said.

The most expensive medal in the world indeed - worth a mere $ 9 billion.

This Bremer medal award ceremony reminds me of a Dastardly Dick and Mutley cartoon. Getting rewarded for wrecking hundreds of aeroplanes and never catching the pigeon.

Karl Rove got him elected twice, at the cost of the future of the GOP to the GOP neocon remnants of a once notable political party, and the well being of the American experiment in self governance by the people, as outlined in our Constitution, and the international good will earned by the thousands of Americans who gave their lives in WWI and WWII as well as the hard work of the generations of Americans that lived before him, to the rest of Americans.

He was an unmitigated fucking disaster for America and the world.

Bush could have been a more mild president if he had not selected Cheney for his vice president (Actually Cheney selected himself and then brought all of the old neocon guard into the government while Bush went on a vacation). Cheney is the bloodthirsty, power hungry SOB who had a profound negative influence on Bush. Unfortunately, this does not excuse Bush, who is ultimately responsible.

The fact that Bush refused to pardon Scooter Libby at the request of Cheney proves to me that these two parted on less than friendly terms.

And Will Ferrell movies have grossed $1,129,653,887 in 10 years. Popularity and quality have nothing in common.
