'you're welcome' has never been a turn of phase over here - 'no worries', 'she's right', 'no problem', even 'thank you' back have always been part of our vernacular.

That might be it. I know that I picked it up somewhere and NYC would have been the longest stint to have snagged something. [they picked up "y'all" from me, so I feel a certain victory]

Somewhere, and I can't place where now, the response is "sure thing" and I also here "no biggie" in Ohio.

From looking a a bunch of saved AIM sessions "No problem" is one I picked up from friends in the city. Not all are native NYers but all have lived there long enough. I did a search on "No Prob", NP and "No Problem" and the NYC kids had the preponderance of hits.

"That's cool" appears to be one of the STL [Santa Teresa Lab] responses. Don't know if that is confined to the lab or Silly Valley.

I have storage sheds also, about 600sqft of them. We just try not to talk about them. Some people get antsy.

Then again about 1.2TB of data and stuff that is being flipped to DVD over time

Real stuff will be saved, everything else can go to FORMAT C:

Drew keeps his pron on the D drive with a nightly autorun format command which he has to override every night or the contents get wiped. Can't let the kids know Pop's deviant perversions.

^ Like the squirrel fisting, and the erotic furry fetish, and the ever popular German "put a pair of pantyhose on my face while I jizz on myself" genre...
