I had 3 rusty old 8 by 10 Sears metal sheds with the doors falling off and local varmints taking up residence in my stored goods. I looked at all the spiffy wooden storage units the various neighbors had erected and saw them rotting where they stood.

For 2 grand apiece, I purchased 2 steel 8 by 20 containers (they couldn't make the turn at the back corner of the house with the 40 footers) from a local purveyor since Baltimore is a port city.

They were delivered on a roll back tow truck and dropped, side by side, on special solid concrete blocks that cost about 20 bucks total and then covered the exposed sides with 8 by 10 siding and vinyl trim.

Here's the inside of mine. The right side is a long workbench and the left side, hidden by the ladder, has industrial quality shelving and metal cabinets that my company was discarding and I rescued.

Hers is lined both sides with the shelving.

Here's a picture taken from the house from a couple of years ago right after I got the concrete pad poured.

I placed the doors to the rear so the neighbors get to see the tractor trailer doors instead of us. Bad Dig.

The tree with the stiffy has since fallen to near hurricane winds.

It's posterboard. Bought it in some store years ago. I don't know why I keep it.
