That's kind of cool but prime time action dramas like "24" or "Fringe" along with the exploding stuffed animals from the Viet Nam war flicks have conditioned me to keep my distance from something like that. I wonder how long it would take for gangs to spring up to disrupt tweenbots once they became more commonplace?

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

Life is full of surprises and if you don't stop to check them out from time to time
one my miss out. I travel all over this great country pedaling my product, sometimes it takes me out in the boonies to somebody home shop at other times and more largely so I'm in the big city at some old business industrial area located by the railroad tracks.

If one were to go by looks only, no, one would have no reason to be in that area.

When I go to these areas I don't carry a gun or a tazer or even mace.
When driving down the road to get to these places I'll often stop to check out the foriegn objects laying aside the road.

I have one life to live and I prefer to live it on the edge, because if you don't, then you're taking up to much space.

OTOH, at 3:15am on March 13, 1964, bar manager Catherine "Kitty" Genovese is raped and stabbed to death outside her apartment building in Queens, NY. None of her 38 neighbors who witness the 32-minute ordeal even bothers to call the cops. Later in court, several testify hearing her scream: "Oh my God! He stabbed me! Please help me! I'm dying!"

I'm jes sayin', people always seem happy to help -- unless it's about helping another person. Strange that.

Bystandard apathy...that's no good...

I suppose if you were in that situation, you'd almost have to single out a specific person and inform them that you'd like thier help, so the whole diffusion of responsibility phenomena doesn't take place.
