There are a couple of ways. When a company finds that person they promote them and give them more responsibilities that utilize those skills or simply give them a raise.
The adverse to that the employer had the bar to low for everyone. Raise the bar to the 1 performers and insure that, as you filter out the poor performers by retasking them to work they are able to do you fill the jobs with folks that reach the bar.
