Talk to the cleaners and you'll see nobody is spot free. Of course, two wrongs don't justify anything.

Yep, he is partisan. And he is an entertainer. But he also takes shots at both sides. I don't think views prior to the election count for anything. It is the shows during non election times that show where someone's lines are.

I have no interest whatsoever in spending my valuable time watching or listening to that kind of crap now that the Bush cabal has been exorcised from our government. But I will say that prior to the election, Olbermann was as petty and partisan as any of them, often launching derisive attacks on anyone and anything Republican for no other reason than being who and what they were. And I'll add something that I have said to other posters here now and again. Each petty attack on the right or failure to swap sides as events dictate harmed his credibility. I realize he has air time to fill, thus must make something out of nothing on slow news days, but IMO, his extreme partisanship is beyond contestation.

I think this is where the issue is. His show is on pretty often while I am at dinner so I see it [or one of the fox shows] more than I want. But what I found is that he DOES "swap sides" when it is called for. His smack down on Polosi last week was a pretty good example. I saw it on close caption, then came home and watched the stream. It was appropriate.

In the big picture, no one needs to be getting their news or framing their opinions from Olbermann, Beck, O'really, Rush, Hannity or any of that group. While they sometimes have good guests, they are not worth wading through to get to that nugget. We could, as a nation delete the entire genre of programming and the national IQ would begin to raise within months.

That is quite a turn-around from before the election. Hard to imagine he and "Bill-O" fighting the same fight....

They aren't, but if one discusses both sides, there will be times that they both argue from the same side of the table.

I still think they all get too much airtime.
