Really ?

Have the 'rats making the policies now ever considered the possibility their plans might just destroy the future of the country even more so than the damage which has already been done ? Nope, I did not think so.

When can the suggestion of constructive solutions be expected?

Certain contrary opinions seem to be of little consequence at present.

The very same people seem to have conveniently forgotten how they accused anyone critical of the former Republican administration ill fated Iraq adventure of being 'unpatriotic.'

Someone please inform Homeland Security.

IMO, the new face of the Republic party Rush Limbaugh should be nominated to head the FDA.
When it come to drugs, his expertise has been well publicized, and by looking at the guy, he is definitely an expert on food.
Being on his third wife, he is well versed in family matters as well.
Oh...FAT JOKES now? I would have never thought it possible, T².

I'm so hurt. Actually blubbering here.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

The only solution they have is "wanting him to fail". According to this thread, it looks like the only constructive alternatives are coming from other factions of the Democratic Party itself. The Republicans are drowning in irrelvency. Maybe if the RNC chairman can take a few minutes from sucking Limbaugh dick, he would realize it.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

-President Barack Obama, 1st Inaugural address

Yes, I can guarantee the models are run on a daily basis as variables change.

The one thing of which I feel certain is that deliberate thought has been put into much of these various plans that are being executed or debated and care to avoid the cascade of unintended consequences that we have seen occur in the near past are being avoided like the plague.

Professionals always look at those outcomes as a normal course of planning to do everything possible to insure that lines of planning don't trigger bad outcomes.

Shooting from the hip, on the other hand doesn't usually have those safeguards. Hence the current environment.
