I cannot but imagine the subconscious trigger that caused such nervous stampede upon hearing a vehicle backfire. It must have been residuals of that dastard act of 9/11/2001 in the minds of the people waiting there. Way to go defenders of suicide bombers and terrorists. Fighting men face to face would be unthinkable, instead of attacking innocents from the shadows. An open fight is not for cowards.

The city needs to hire more police officers and pay them double since they are obviously putting their lives on the line taking care of our nation's short models.
