Where's the justice

A contributor to another board I subscribe to was jailed for eighteen months in the UK for "careless driving" because he scared three old ladies with his "reckless driving"
A peer of the realm served sixteen days for killing another motorist whilst texting on his mobile/cell phone.

It wasn't granny porn It was three minor collisions involving three old Dorises.

The stiff sentence was probably due to dentures being jolted out crashing to the windshield, that my friend is a high road crime.

Gee Redliner
You have me puzzled
was it carless or reckless?
How accidents again?
Three was it?
more details please
I did also wonder if I would have recieved the same sentenance as Lord wotsnot
However he was not phoning OR texting at the time of the accident and I presume sober since he would have automatically been breathylised
so it was plain and simple AN ACCIDENT
The cause and the outcome cannot be related / connected
Your friend however would appear to make a habit of poor? dangerous ? driving
PS
Explain your user name again
cheers
M

Indeed you might well ask......

This would be one those honorary 'life' peeragages the PM is able to dish out to friends and political supporters. Often rich industrialists - like the knighthood to Richard Branson. This Ahmed individual got his award for 'services to the community'.

In other words - he is a successful Muslim immigrant, and in the interest of what is now known as 'Diversity' it is neccessary in the UK for such folks to be publicly rewarded. Of course peers have no legislation powers.

I don't know where the '3 old ladies' story comes from - but this motorist story is a bit more complicated.

He crashed into some cars that were involved in an accident that had just happened, and killed one of the drivers.

He was arrested, and the records of his cell phone were checked by the police. This showed that minutes earlier he was using (texting) his phone, which was not hands-free. As this is illegal in the UK he was charged with 'dangerous driving'.

Unusual case, as he had not caused the original accident but because of his innattention he did kill somebody who was already involved in it.

Lord Ahmed? Lord of what?
Apparently of MEDs. The Lord of all things Pharmaceutical.

I could see potential in that position.

I didn't comment on it in the first place, but however it's to do with that orangy, reddish bit on a rev-counter that my needle seems to always to be in to
