Sudan back in the news (sigh)
The International Criminal Court today issued an arrest warrant against the President of Sudan.
In response (though no doubt they'd say it is unrelated), the Sudanese government has issued orders to expel a bunch of neutral humanitarian groups, so circumstances of unspeakable tragedy are about to get significantly worse.
The only meaningful difference between this situation and Iraq under Hussein is the oil in the Middle East, otherwise we'd have been content to let Saddam exterminate his opponents.
Just my view, your opinion may differ.
Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. (Winston Churchill)
