I am not spending a penny on any of it. I am waiting for them to ship me a brand new one to repaying for the bailout money. Not that they will be in business much longer, and I think it's the only way they can repay tax payers.

While waiting I went in and Bull shitted with Ryan the Owner about the new ones he has and how bussiness really was.
He had a New 09 Z-71 on the floor loaded and white, my color, don't ask. So we get to talking, the new one had a MSRP of 53K and change. I asked him what he would trade me for Cash Dif. He hit me at 25K, I laughed and told him the most I would go would be 18K. He said he couldn't go that low.
I took the 07 home and the estimate to repair the bumper and Foglight was about 1K and change, I told the guy to order the parts and call me when to bring it in for repairs. My 07 has 38K and change on the Odom.
Well Ryan calls this AM and says, tell you what you give me 19K and I will take your 07 as is. My Deduct is 500.00, and I really liked the new one, so I said Okay. I will pick it up tomorrow, I think it is a Really good deal, they need to move these, anyone considering should see your GM dealer now.
Wagonner says thank you. He's trying to round up all all the cash he can before being run out of office.

Likewise, the banks should be paying 100 % interest for our funds.

Well brought home the new truck, really like it. So does the wife, she took it to her office this afternoon to show it off, not really, she is the one who drives it mostly, and she doesn't like driving the P.U. I did manage to find out why Ryan was willing to make the deal. Seems he already had made a deal to sell my old one to the local Dentist. I know that cat too and my wife and her know each other. Seems his wife wanted a newer car and they traded in their Jeep Cherokee. I knew Ryan had to have a plan, he is one hell of a Horse Trader.

Just look at Mercedes for a peak. 2006 Mercedes E500s, which sold for around $60K devalued quickly. I bought mine for $22 5 months ago with low miles and perfect condition.

The dealer has 4 2004 SLs, which cost about $90-95 new that are all available for around $25-28 depending on mileage. And that is Benz PRIOR to all these giveaways.

On GM, a new GMC Sierra Extended cab SLT truck, exactly like mine [which has everything except sunroof] is around $42K STICKER. A 2007 in Excellent condition with under 20K miles can be had, at a dealer for under $20K.

My favorite ploy when I sell a car to a dealer is to stuff any race track time receipt somewhere in the car where you know sooner or later the new owner will find. Imagine the look on the poor guys face when he sees how often his steed was raced. Ha!
