The current market contains much of what Jefferson rebelled against. The constitution gives the power to issue currency to the congress. A Power they have delegated to the banks which had it prior to the congress being given the right to issue currency.
The founders were opposed to the banking structure of europe almost to a man. They intended us to separate ourselves from it, but it bullied it's way right past their ineffective restraints.

"...pour out of one vessel into another; and as those old Romans robbed all the cities in the world, we skim the cream of other men's wits, pick the choice flowers of their tilled gardens to set our own sterile plots."

Or maybe this, THIS, THIS THIS is what was on the 18 minutes that Richard Nixon "accidentally" erased. The very start of NeoCon Economics and he couldn't have the first "Republican" President espousing economic responsibility.

Finally, the answers that Woodstein could not reveal.

Being smart is knowing the difference, in a sticky situation between a well delivered anecdote and a well delivered antidote - bear.
