Another crappy day on Wall Street. DOW index is now 63 points above the 7,000 mark.

Last year I predicted it will sink to 6,500 before things start looking up. Let's see if I am right.

I didn't think the bottom would carry a rolling average below 8250. Lost a $1000 bet on that one. On the good side I expected much of what happened and pulled out what I could in October 2007 so I am waiting. I don't think it is time yet. While gold is up about 20% in the same time frame it is oddly stagnant from what I would expect it to be doing.

There has to be some motion coming up soon.
