I used to own an HK-91, which was a semi auto version of the HK assault rifle. It fired the NATO 308 round, which is more powerful than the AK 47 round. The rifle had a 20 shot magazine, a folding bipod, casing ejector buffer, and its recoil was unbelievably low. The effective range was over 1000 meters, and the weapon was extremely accurate. Not something you would shoot in close quarters though.

Fun because it creates a lot of noise and damage and kicks like a mule plus the imported commie rounds with smokey, fowling powder are cheap to shoot. Not a great target rifle, but good for spray 'n pray in combat and shootin' up old refrigerators plus your drinkin' buddies will think you are cool. I prefer a black rifle. I have an OlyArms AR15 with a 1" bull barrel and a well tuned trigger for hitting the 10 ring. Brass and lead is not cheap so I had another upper made to accomodate 22lr. It keeps the fun alive.

I don't really care what they were shooting with. They obeyed the #1 rule of a gunfight: Have a gun.
