I did a thesis on the abuse of statistics. Your chart abuses Clinton.

You might want to learn to read charts.

The 2009 budget belongs to Bush [much like the 2001 budget belonged to Clinton]. The two major items that trigger all that negative spending in the budget are the Financial Sector Bailout from Fall 2008 and the Stimulus Package taht was just signed, both due to ineffectiveness of Bushie.

As I said late last year, after the Financial sector bailout, it is going to be worse before it gets better and I would not be surprised if the Bush Economic Doctrine doesn't end up costing us a $13Trillion National Debt in the long run.

So, really nice try in an attempt to obfuscate but it really doesn't work.

This dovetails in nicely to my ancient thesis. Both of you are using the same argument to beat each other up. Perspective of ownership is everything. I see quality in the man that turns adversity into gain. It's the old silk purse adage. Yeah, shame on whoever caused it, just shut up and fix it. Whoever last touched it is the bastard that needs to fix it. It takes a real man to ignore the shit and move forward.

People who whine about who's fault it is are just like a turd that won't flush.

Yep, It has to be fixed. And it will be. It is interesting, however that the whiners on the right, who sat silent from 2001-2007 while Bush and his Republican Congress ran up deficit after deficit now bitch about Obama's plan without having CONSTRUCTIVE alternatives.

As you say, it has to be fixed. That is what is happening. So it boils down to either help or shut up move out of the way.

There you go again... As usual, you're going to try and hang everything bad on President Bush for as long as you can. I can recall many old posts where you called the '01 budget President Bush's budget. You can't have it both ways. Besides, I can swear I saw Obama introduce it as "his budget" this morning.

Don't believe everything you think

Nope, you will never find a post where I called the 2001 budget a Bush Budget. I know who submitted what and when.

Now the Omnibus Budget that Obama introduced today IS HIS. But that is different than the current 2009 budget that the current government is working under, submitted by Bush last August. It has all the Financial Sector Bailouts associated with it. [and that is where the deficit projection is generated on the chart]

Now, with the Omnibus bill [OBAMA'S] there is a boatload of deficit spending. If you remember I have been posting that, because of reduced employment, and the recession [caused by guess who] there will be less revenue and that will also be deficit spending, just to keep the country running. The alternatives are gross tax increases and service cuts [I bet we will have both].

But to go back to your original chart, the $1.75Trillion projection is NOT "more than all of Bush's Deficits combined". Those added up to well over $5Trillion.
