Come on now, what's a little Dictatorship of the Proletariat between friends?

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

-President Barack Obama, 1st Inaugural address

Glad to see that you at least admit you are a hypocrite.

I cannot blame Obama for this step. He recognizes that the Democratic Congress is spineless, except for a few. They do not even have the guts to throw Karl Rove in jail after he has thumbed his nose at the Congressional subpoenas twice.

Of course you can't. Why would you stand up for a principle when it is not politically advantageous to do so?

Now, for bonus points, show where Obama has actually expanded the base of power for the Executive.
