I change the oil myself. Three MBs... and I don't follow the FSS... I'm old fashioned.
Every 3000~5000 miles. (dont' flame me)
Anyway, that's 8 quarts per car... 24 quarts for 3 cars.... and I haven't been to the
local county recycling center in a long while. All the oil just sat in my garage.
Earlier this evening, I loaded up my truck with 22 gallons of used Mobil 1 0W-40 oil
and went to the recycing center. (that's 22 one-gallon plastic bottles in the back
of my Navigator)
After I was done dumping all the used oil into the giant waste oil tank, I noticed
that there was a new blue plastic barrel(70-gallon-size?). It was marked "recycled
windshield wiper washer fluid - dump here"!!!???? I was like... what??? Since when
do people recycle washer fluid?
