Market reaction to the passing the Stimulus plan
Tomorrow is gonna be an important day, either we go down and bad, or we bounce. If it trades flat we get hammered thursday.
Anybody notice that every time the government has had a chance to make a statement to stop the bleeding they have whiffed badly, for 18 months? The FOMC, The Paulson Treasury, Congress, the Former President, The Geithner Treasury, and The Current President have all stepped up and coughed up a hairball time after time. The one common thread is they all were a day late and a dollar short. I thought the solution was to act decisively and with "shock and awe", but what I didn't realize is the government is incapable of that type of action. We'd have been better off doing nothing right from the start, than what has been done.
My reaction to the stimulus plan is to order a couple thousand rounds of .45 ACP, spare night optics, infrared flood lights, a few more cases of MRE's, a few more cases of dog food, upgraded the security system, 750 gallons of diesel, Bulletproofed the generator enclosure, spare filters for the water filtration system, and survival gear. Considering another HK UCP and the full auto conversion kit.
I am not certain there has been a time where we were looking over the precipice like we are now in my lifetime.
