How long before a large percentage of "those" jobs are actually posted for hire? 3 years? 7? 15?
I say the first 1% are not realized before we are officially out of the recession.
Crap, I'm being negative and talking out my arse like a liberal. For shame!!! The messiah (note small m) will save us!
Long term is BS! We need instant gratification now! Just like all those Steel Reserves I just downed. The car won't start! We need a giant can of ether to spray in our collective intakes! I can't wait for a new battery. Let's jump start this pig!!!
Or, we could do nothing and just wait about a year and the recession will be over and we will be back to a growth pattern.
I asked the dog to get me another beer, but he just looks at me. Later. I'm heading for the fridge.
Unfortunately, even if the job numbers pan out, the jobs created are part of the now discredited real estate bubble economy. The stimulus in fact delays the required retraining of the workforce.
