That brings back memories. The guys used to buzz the field before landing, especially after a hot mission and would nearly pull the roofs off.

I got to ride in the backseat on an RF4C as it picked up a new electronics pylon. The Wild Weasels had more electronic toys in the backseat than you could imagine. Their mission was to come in prior to a big flight, light up the SAM sites and follow the signals down and take out the site before they could launch on the BUFFS and Thuds.


Being smart is knowing the difference, in a sticky situation between a well delivered anecdote and a well delivered antidote - bear.
