What specifics are not having impact for 4-6 years? What percentage of the payout? What amount is streamed throughout the 4-6 years?

I have seen projects that go out that far but nothing that does not have effect on both the short and long term. Do you have specifics?

Look, Dems control the House and mostly control the Senate and this BILL will pass, despite Repub objections, so we must ask why is he showing so much frustration?

The reason is that the BILL has been shown to be full of wasteful s---, which has undermined his credibility as the Messiah. And he is frustrated because he has never led under conditions where he has faced significant opposition. The popularity rating for the BILL is down to 37%.

He is also overplaying his mandate to govern. He wasn't elected because of his expertise. His election resulted from three things: 1) votes against McCain (Bush), 2) he was a "clean" black man (not a poverty pimp), and 3) he wasn't properly vetted by the press, which is ironic considering that his cabinet choices suffer the same problem.

His charm, charisma and intelligence will not sustain him. Afro style has limited functionality for him. His education in socialist policies, if practiced completely, will sink his administration, because what makes our nation uniquely strong is our capitalist economy and the public will not give that up. If he thinks this BILL is tough now, wait until the debate on socializing medicine starts.
Other than the random references to his race and your views as to why he is frustrated, your claim that we are still "uniquely strong because of our capitalist economy" is so full of fail. We sold out our capitalistic system years ago, shipped it off to Bangalore, Shanghai and Juarez. We are now, unfortunately as much as anything else a consumer system having given up building stuff and producing stuff long ago. We BUY stuff.

But it does look like you have fallen into the trap...

Apparently reading comprehension is not your forte. At least that is what months of posts like that suggest.

Bushie was never "saying all of this". For much of the time he was saying that the economy was fine. And in the last six months he was hiding in the White House pretty much not saying anything [maybe his best decision in eight years].

Well according to CNN on September 25 he said exactly this. So yet again, you are wrong and your BDS shows through.

Bush: Bailout plan necessary to deal with crisis - CNN.com

I use CNN because you guys on the left love to roast Fox. So let's use your own "trusted" news outlet.

Talk about Spin, wow McBear you must be pretty dizzy from all of that spin.

Let's also talk about back in:

-In 2001, the Administration warned that the size of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac “is a potential problem” because “financial trouble of a large GSE (government-sponsored enterprise) could cause strong repercussions in financial markets, affecting Federally insured entities and economic activity.”

-In 2003, Treasury Secretary John Snow testified before the House Financial Services Committee that Congress enact legislation to create a new federal agency that will regulate and supervise the financial activities of federal housing related enterprises – and to set minimum capital adequacy requirements.

-In 2004, the Bush Adminstration warned that GSE’s were under regulated and could pose a risk to our economy.

-In 2007, President Bush called upon Congress to pass legislation to reform Freddie and Fannie.

-In March 2008, Bush again called on Congress to reform Freddie and Fannie. He issued another warning in May: “Americans are concerned about making their mortgage payments and keeping their homes. Yet Congress has failed to pass legislation I have repeatedly requested to modernize the Federal Housing
Administration that will help more families stay in their homes, reform Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to ensure they focus on their housing mission, and allow State housing agencies to issue tax-free bonds to refinance sub-prime loans.” (President George W. Bush, Radio Address, 5/3/08)

So let's see, 2008-2001=7 Years. Bush has been warning congress about this for 7 years.

But again, it is Bush's fault.

Who's John Galt.

Um Skippy, you do know that was about the Financial Sector Bailout, don't you? It had nothing to do with the restimulation of the entire economy which, since September 2008 pretty much cratered.

You might want to get with the program. That was a different solution for a different problem. And if you go back you will see that I agreed completely with him on that one.

Again with the Spin. The financial sector is what started this whole thing. Wow. This is really not the McBear we have known and come to love.

Why are we where we're at McBear? The biggest factor has been the inability to get money or aka the "Credit Crunch."

Wow, you just really can't see past the propaganda of hate and lies about Bush can you.

So sad.
