You rejected Bush's dividing up the folks into good and evil; apparently, he had to..because you couldn't tell the difference on your own. For some reason, you just can't seem to grasp the implications of your silly, lame classification system. Really, you want to protect this piece of scum from a bunch of water put up his nose to enhance our image in the world. Believe me, our image would be much worse if we let assholes like that push us around.

Oh, regardless of his treatment, I don't hear any of you complaining about his being in custody--brought about by Bush's policies.
You seem confused. Nobody is making a victim out of the "confessed" planner of the 9/11 attacks. The VICTIM is the US Justice system that has to now determine how to address the problems that the Bush Administration caused that impact US JUSTICE.

The world is right side up. This is how it is suppose to work. If ANY criminal is denied due process, the justice system is put in a conundrum as to how to both met justice and insure that the US does not break it's own laws.

I would imagine you would whimper like a little girl if you were arrested and had your rights violated. I have no doubt you would hire a lawyer to try and have the case thrown out because YOU were "done wrong".

Apparently the Supreme Court understands it.

I figured someone like bottomeline would twist it to sound off his bullshit. No one is sympathizing with this Mohamad fuker; the concern is with obtaining confessions via torture that will eventually yeild this fucker an out off jail card. Do you even understand that bottomefuk?
It will be a sad day when a terrorist walks away on technicality because some fukin "decider"thought that water boarding was not torture. If you don't understand the point of this outrage then I can't help you elevate your IQ any higher.

Oh good. Feed him well and keep his Swiss accounts untouched. This way we can keep Medvedev & Co contained for now.

Broaden your view. Freedom will only happen for him if you switch him from the military trial system (SC Approved) to the domestic criminal justice system.

What on earth do you know about IQ?, drewpuff?

The US justice system is involved because you liberals found a way to use the court system to criticize the Bush administration. Obama has now taken it to the next illogical step: ordering the closure of Gitmo without a planned disposition of the detainees. The first response was from a military judge who said he would go ahead with the trial.

That's a lame analogy. I'm not likely to be found carrying a rocket launcher in the hills outside Kabul. You keep trying to "normalize" terrorist conduct by using the criminal justice model.
