Well you know that oil painting on E Bay I purchased? Well it is indeed a fake.

Someone faked the famous Southwest artist. I've had no less than 3 inspectors and three written statements, one of which is from the daughter of the painter. In negotiations with the seller now. I feel he did not know as he was a power seller that deals in a completely different area of expertise. He is on touch with the estate from whence the fake came. There were many other collectible paintings from that estate that sold too. I wonder how many of those were fakes. I bought this one because I knew I could have it authenticated locally.
