Continental started this neat thing on their frequent flier program where they keep track of your "lifetime miles." I thought I had more to tell you the truth, because I joined OnePass back in the Eastern Airlines days and have bounced around between Silver Elite and Platinum since then. Still, I "only" had 620,000 miles. So with all airlines I guess I have a little over a million.
Never really had any incidents other than a few go arounds a sudden steep bank over the Atlantic. Had a few emergency stopovers for medical reasons (other people).
What I really fear is the center seat in coach. After flying around the world (Cleveland, Chicago, San Fran, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Frankfurt, London, Wash DC, Cleveland) virtually in a center seat every leg, it damaged me permanently.
And I've noticed I've become very annoyed by other passengers as of late. Either they are incredibly stupid and unaware or I'm getting crotchety in my old age.
