It is not unfounded as it has been proven most recently, with the first Bailout plan. Government intervention has the POSSIBILITY of reducing the effects of a recession. The problem is that the LIKELIHOOD of the Government making the economic situation worse is exponentially higher.

This has been shown through the ages and in fact just read the news, read your own posts, and then try to show us how Obama is going to be any different than any other politician?

It isn't going to happen. Get your money out now, buy Gold, and hunker down is probably the best course of action at the moment.
You have ZERO to back up your statement that "The problem is that the LIKELIHOOD of the Government making the economic situation worse is exponentially higher."

Do you understand the full ramifications of what a collapse of this economy will be?

Regarding the Fall2008 Financial Sector bailout, the problem with that bailout was NOT the bailout itself, that is actually starting to do what it was designed to do. It stabilized the falling dominoes. The ONLY thing that failed on that was that Paulson did not require OVERSIGHT and Institutional Transparency when he handed out the checks.

In reading the final bill Treasury is in charge of all Administration of funds.

As for my work, I do the majority of my work in country. I also manage teams that are what some of my clients humorously refer to as "global resources". That shifts quarterly. I can start on a project that is all US and it change in the middle of a contract. Or I can start with Chinese developers and, for some reason end up with Brazilian or US workers. For the third time I have been able to move work back to Kentucky from China or India after screwups by those teams.

If you ever do consulting work for global companies you will understand. Until then, you will not.

So no, it is not ironic.
I think most would find otherwise.

So we gave up trying to balance the budget. So the mass elected Mr. Obama who promised alot and now it's payback time but time will truly tell. We have the same people as corrupt as some of you now on the Hussein Team sticking us the Americans up the A..! How about this!

Christopher Dodd....Freddie and Fannie Mac and all you corrupt corroboratorers go to jail! Where's the witch hunt? I'm with Limbaugh on this...I hope Obama Fails!!!!!!!!!! I didn't say America...I said Barrack Hussein Obama...his policies...you know the one who was born in Kenya verified by his now dead grandmother, you know the one you voted for.... A great man is only as great as his back bone and Hussein if you want to be great in America as a President then you need to make decisions and put your little Blackberry away and do the business of the OPIUS.
