I have been reading the posts McBear and it seems to me that you have been leading the charge on the Obama Cheerleading team when it comes to this stimulus package.

It's not a shot in the arm if it gives it to the American people in the shorts.

The last time business got tax cuts from Bush they spent much of their credit moving jobs offshore, costing both American's jobs AND reducing the tax base. That can't continue.

As for infrastructure, big capital projects provide the most bang for the buck, helping business and worker alike. And it acts like a dollar multiplier back into the revenue system.

As I said way earlier, the House bill means little other than a framework. The real deal is going to be in the Conference Committee.
Don't you employ overseas workers?

If you think I have just been cheer leading, you haven't been reading or completely lack the ability to comprehend English.

Go back and read the posts that break down the good bad and what needs to be in different bills or the posts that address the fact that all we have seen is the House version and it is not worth discussing until we get to the Conference Committee if you need clarity.

Nope. Never have. I work contracts where the company for which I am the Project Manager or Project Architect will have development teams in China, India or Brazil [sometimes Italy or Ireland]. They become my responsibility once I hire on as PM.

All the folks that I employ directly are US citizens and live and work here unless the job pushes them to a client site in another country.

I managed American and foreign workers here and "overseas" too. Most of my contracts abroad required me to employ local workforce first until I couldn't find the skills set that I needed then I imported Americans over. For me it was always in this direction, that is I ended up employing Americans to work abroad.

So its the old, do as I say not as I do?

You hire on to companies that do exactly, what you are cheerleading against!
