Thes clowns just don't seem to notice that this country is failing due to the misguided policies of their uber-right heroes. Their only way to deal with their denial is to be a bunch of whiny shit birds. Their idealogical mentor and current hero is an Oxycontin addled entertainer, Rush Limbaugh, whose new intellectually bankrupt move, which he puts out there in between his heroin barfs, is attempting to infuse in them some sort of alternate-reality explanation for how and why they screwed the pooch for all of us, and they are stunned as they realize no one is buying this shit anymore.
These sour grape whiners seem to be having trouble coming to terms with the fact that all the stuff they embraced so fervently during the eight years of the Bush nightmare got swept out the door in November, and all they have left is to be petulant, shallow gasbags who don't realize the rest of the world is leaving them all behind as we build a new world to replace the total mess they left us. Trillions shit down the Iraq toilet. Trillions given away as "tax cuts" using borrowed money. Trillions wasted and looted as government regulation by the Executive Branch went on a holiday. And they never said anything. Now they whine like little piglets. Where was your whining when billions disappeared with no accounting in Iraq? Where was your whining when we shit billions out to build an "embassy" aka "occupation palace" in Iraq? But if it's money for an American's job, well then, that's a different story. When we build "Iraqi infrastructure", hey no prob, wave that fucking yellow ribbon. When we give an American a job building roads and bridges in our own country, the little cunts cry "SOCIALISM"! When we build palaces in Iraq, hey, no prob, but give someone a fucking hammer to build a new American industry, they turn up the AM radio and cry like the little bitches they are to each other.
Even Republicans are leaving them. Colin Powell, who was himself a member of the Bush administration who switched parties and supported Obama, suggested that people need to stop listening to Rush Limbaugh, and McCain has obviously had enough of these nuts. And why not? Do they really add anything to the national dialogue ? Does Limbaugh wishing failure on our newly inaugurated president help or hurt the nations resolve to get over this? People are starting to see the far right in America as what they are, a bunch of black-helicopter kooks who managed to get their hands on power and shit away this country. No one is listening to them anymore. Into the dustbin of history with the idiotic bastards. Watching Obama address the Muslim world last night, something they were incapable of, astonishing. Today Obama is meeting with all the Republicans in the House to discuss his economic plan, something Bush would rather have cut his cock off over instead of doing when it came to the Democrats. In eight days, Obama has been more of a president than Bush was in eight years. We finally have a leader. It's a new world.
Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.
-President Barack Obama, 1st Inaugural address
