Is it possible that Obama believes he is president of the United States of America, and not just a political party? Is there still an active, operational political office in the WH?

President Obama just walked out of a meeting with Republian reps and he is on his way now to talk with the Republican senators. When did Bush do something like that?

Drew, Dig is correct, Bush always talked to the GOP folks. Got us this far, who knows, give them a chance, be nice.

If Saudi Arabia has amassed untold trillions from us suckers, why are we picking up the tab for defending them from Iran by our occupation of Iraq? We live in a world of common madness.
Now THAT is the start of a plan.

LOL, yeah I knew that Let me rephrase; when did Bush if ever shoot the breeze together with a bunch of Democrats in a padded room?

On second thought, I hope this doesn't relate to Digmenow's 'I will stamp my feet and hold my breath' thread.
It's not just here. I see it on nearly every forum. It interestingly seems to have a genesis from [and I know this is going to be a surprise] the Right Wing Talk Show Circus.

It is like a "we lost, don't know what to do so we are going to laugh at the new guy and hope he screws up" mentality. The common thread is that there is NEVER a suggestion of what to do or a better suggestion or a logical alternative, just subjective criticism. And that is usually not even supportable by facts.

As is evidenced by the piss poor planning of the last eight years, I don't believe they understand the unintended consequences of those tactics.
