Wow, you really need to say no to drugs.
C'mon, other than Iraq and Germany being in the same hemisphere and being ruled by a dictator, there were no similarities between the two.

Any of these sound similar to the current war ?
The US chose out of its free will to fight as a preemptive strike. We were in no imminent danger at the beginning of WWII.
Do you have a clue on whatever it is you are talking about? You prattle like a nut case.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

Reading the Puzzle Palace was really weird. Here I was, working for No Such Agency, and all of a sudden it's sorta public knowledge. Of course, the really good stuff is still classified (I hope).

Look,
in WWII, we carpet bombed a nation whose soldiers did not even set foot on this country,
yet the war is considered a just one ( I assume you as well).
Have you ever thought why ?

You seem to have a problem seeing the similarities just because the magnitudes are different. In fact, bandit96 shares the same shortcoming, so don't feel too bad. It seems to be a common affliction.

Yes, you continue to miss the point. You do realize that your analogy would hold just as much water had we invaded Bermuda, right? Or Monaco, or Fiji, or any other helpless, harmless sovereign nation minding its own business. It is as if you're suggesting that Neil Armstrong's trip to the moon was not unprecedented since he had once walked to the corner store.

If you want a WWII analogy that holds a little water (far more than yours), we are Germany and Iraq is Poland circa 1939. In fact, Poland represented a far greater threat to Germany than Iraq ever did to the U.S.
