This next four years are going to be a lot like 1932. There are going to be a bunch of things thrown against the wall to see what sticks. The problems are just too complex at this point to clearly define a singular solution that addresses all variables.
But at least we won't be using much of the same philosophy that has been in place since 1981. Even with Clinton, we had a Republican Congress so that Neocon philosophy has been pretty much intact for nearly thirty years. THAT is going to take a while to sort through. There are some decent elements to it and some very bad elements from it. We are seeing the results of many of the bad elements' cumulative effects.
Just a slight correction there McBrear. Neocon Philosophy has only really been in the arena sinch Gingrich left.
Everything before that held to more or less the actual principals of American Political Conservatism.
Who's John Galt.
