You are the one trying to find a definition. You are the one who brought up the 21 countries, I simply listed the ones that had troops remaining in theatre. You are the one that is having the problem getting the discussion to fit YOUR paradigm.

At no time did I place any value judgment whatsoever on them or their decision. Sorry I didn't post something you are not able to twist.

I'm sorry there were so many I am not sure what the total was, but they are not somehow worthy of being called a coalition because McBear and Germanstar don't like that others in the world disagree with their analysis of the facts at the time.

So when you wrote this:

Quote:
That was a really strong coalition.

* United Kingdom
* South Korea
* Australia
* Poland
* Romania
* Denmark
* El Salvador
* Georgia
* Azerbaijan
* Bulgaria
* Latvia
* Albania
* Czech Republic
* Mongolia
* Lithuania
* Armenia
* Bosnia & Herzegovina
* Estonia
* Macedonia
* Kazakhstan
* Moldova

Maybe if Moldova and Kazakhstan had just doubled their commitment the war would have been the slam dunk that Cheney promised. Those extra 41 troops might have made the difference.
You were not saying something derogatory about the strength or worthiness of the coalition?

I don't see how that will be spun but I am sure that it will be entertaining to watch!

Begin with the complete list, then remove any and all contributors receiving some form of substantial U.S. aid. Post the remaining list.

Yes, I said the coalition was weak. That has nothing to do with the worth of any of the nations, simply the building of a weak coalition [and your question was: "So then what is your definition of a worthy country if these countries are not?"]

The reason the coalition was weak was due to Bush and his inability to build a strong case for reasons to invade Iraq. He FAILED because he had no valid reasons. So the only folks who became part of the coalition were those who either owe us or needed something.

This "coalition" is also well known as the "coalition of bribed and coerced".
