In normal inauguration, I would agree.
But this one is different than that of the last 43, being the first African American Commander in Chief. I think it is appropriate to have such big celebration as this is history in the making, whether you like the man or not. And what better way to show the world America indeed is a land of opportunity and tolerate/welcome change?
