Epic doom

Epic doom is a style of doom metal that is characterized primarily by its vocal style; vocalists typically employ clean, operatic and choral singing. Lyrics and imagery are typically inspired by fantasy or mythology, while the drumming is performed in a bombastic fashion.However, for the uninitiated, distinguishing epic doom from traditional doom may be difficult. Examples of prominent epic doom bands include Candlemass, Solitude Aeturnus, Solstice and Doomsword.

I'd suggest you get initiated before it's too late.....what with the doom and all....

I like so many different genres of music I wouldnt even know where to start listing my favorate artists.
The only 'main' type of music I don't listen to is Country.

However I must say I am a huge fan of European-Dutch Trance artists/DJs such as:

Armin Van Burren
Sean Tyas
Markus Shultz
Dash Berlin

I like Beethoven, Brams, Gendel, Shopin, Tchaikovsky...many others...
Brahms and Chopin (Polish btw) might have gone shopping though.
Gendel = Mendelssohn?

Thanks for not mentioning Wagner (yikes). Hitlers bosom buddy and premier Wagner conductor Wilhelm Furtwängler's family (talk about dysfunctional) were our families winter neighbors .
