Don't listen to me; I'm a Palestinian and can't be unbiased on the subject. Listen to this Israeli lady instead:
YouTube - AVIGAIL SPEAKSOUT AGAINST THE MASSACRE IN GAZA
Or a jewish American rabbi:
YouTube - Blame Israel?
Or Jewsf the World message to Israeli soldiers to stop the genocide:
YouTube - JEWS CALL ON ISRAELI SOLDIERS TO STOP WARCRIMES !!!! OPEN LETTER TO ISRAELI SOLDIERS !!!

Or to John Ging, a UN official in Gaza (What a coincidence! He's Irish):
YouTube - John Ging 06.01.09 14:37
YouTube - John Ging of UNRWA outside a Gaza Hospital

Or this informed American:
YouTube - Israel Attacks Gaza, Silence from Mainstream Media about Israeli Violations of International Law

heh, heh........hey Tahl, please explain in simple terms:

1. What was HAMAS trying to achieve by firing rockets at Israeli civilians?

2. Don't you think that along with the Arab Leaders, the HAMAS Leaders should also be admitted to long term 'Mental Retardation' Centres if they expected the outcome of their idiotic actions to be any different from the current tragic state of events?

heh, heh......

1. The key word is resistance. Once, we only had stones. We used them. Many were killed in retaliation, thousands of bones were literally broken but the sacrifice paid off: For the first time in Palestinian-Israeli conflict, Israel was forced to negotiate a peace deal with Palestinians. Now we have home-made rockets (all factions have them, not only Hamas). As Israel doesn't genuinely want peace, we'll be using them. We're ready for the sacrifice, especially that the only other option is dying slowly in the large concentration camp called Gaza.

2. No. I was referring to the Saudi monarch's inability to read what's supposed to be his own written 'speech'.

Arabs watched the war on Gaza on TV as well as treasonous Arab leaders reactions to it. If anything, Israeli brutalities raised Hamas stakes among people: Arabs feel some of their long lost dignity was restored by Hamas and Gazans in general. People are proud of the resistance's ability to endure 22 days of bombardment without surrender, unlike Arab armies in 1967 war who couldn't last for more than 6 hours. This is the way the ordinary man sees things.

So The Israelis are now rounding the Palistanians up, starving them to death, machinegunning them whilst in captivity, gassing them , burning the bodies etc etc
Or did I miss something??
Genocide aint what it used to be apparently
Though I get the feeling that this is what a lot of Arab/ Muslim type people would still like to happen to the Jews.
said"feeling" based on recorded Arab/ Muslim statmentents
Scheesh!

1. Actually, Israel has never been forced to negotiate a peace deal, either with the Palestinians, nor with any other Arab countries. At least not by those combatants. If they were "forced" to negotiate, it was by the U.S. and other Allies, who explained to Israel that aid that they were receiving might disappear if peace was not made. However, because the Arabs really don't want "peace", any negotiation is really just about a delaying tactic until the Arabs can again mass manpower and weapons to continue the fight. It's been that way from the beginning, and I don't see it changing any time soon.

2. Oh, I thought you were referring to President Bush.

3. The difference of course between Hamas and "Arab armies" is that during the 1967 War, those same Arab armies fought a conventional war, out in the open, like traditional armies, against a tiny little country, whose only option was to fight or die. That little country beat the shit out of all those Arab countries, because they had to. When the dust had settled, Israel had won lands that hadn't been theirs, that they were then forced to relinquish, again by the U.S. and also Russia. Hamas, like the Viet Cong, fight their gorilla war from the midst of the local population, but unlike the Viet Cong, Hamas attacks civilians, and the Palestinians appear to be too stupid to realize that by allowing these attacks to come from their locations, retribution against these very areas, in the hopes of killing the Hamas fighters, will happen. That the Palestinians haven't rebelled against Hamas, for causing their problems, is amazing to me. But it's certainly a window into the Arab soul. And by the way, you certainly don't believe that those rockets fired into Israel are actually "home made", do you? Get serious.

After reviewing this list, can you supply a reason for the large discrepancy between the Arab/Islamic population's contribution to the world body and that of the Jew? There are 165 Jews listed as opposed to 6 from the Arab side. So perhaps you should select another word, other than "proud" about the accomplishments of your Arab buddies.

Just to play Devil's advocate, who makes up the Nobel committee? They became irrelevant - again - after honoring Al Gore. It's an interesting statistic, but I don't think it can be considered evidential of anything.
