You may oppose Israeli policies, but if by doing so you show total disrespect for the international law which does not allow the bordering entity to launch hundreds of rockets to the neighboring country, you are dead wrong.

Just put your kids, jewish and non-jewish into the situation where they are randomly targeted by Qassam missiles and / or suicide bombers. Your attitude would change in a minute. That is, of course, in case you don't hate your own children.

So opposing Israel's policies is a disrespect for international law?

He never did, what part of that did you missed? Take your blinders off, there is more to see once you gain peripheral vision you know.

You're completely wrong, all of you.

If these folks cannot manage to live together, they should simply stop trying.

Now that that's been cleared up...

While I am sympathetic towards the Palestinians, I have zero sympathy for either Hamas, or Israel in the latest installment of this perpetual conflict.
If Hamas had the power to do so, Israeli's probably would find themselves drowning in the sea, and Israel would likely wish the same for the Palestinians, could they get away with it.
Little has been said about the Iran - Hamas connection, and Iran's ability to further their cause by proxy.
Be it Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, or the People’s Mujahedeen, Hezbollah Brigde, Mukhtada Brigade etc. in Iraq, these groups need Iranian money, materiel, and logistical support, to continue.
The fall in wold oil prices helps to curtail this support.

That's the level and kind of discussion we need Not the poisonous, hatred laden shit from milfy and Multi.
Most of us (the sane ones) are in agreement that Hamas even though elected is not helping the Palestinian cause and that Israel's policies towards the Arab population is basically in par if not filthier than apartheid. The concern is about WHERE DO WE STAND as a nation that claims to be a broker in this mess? We are far from being fair since we clearly side the Israelis as if they can do no wrong. All you have to do is simply read the comments from our forum local village idiots as they already have passed judgment on who's anti Semitic for simply opposing said policies. They personify the state of mind organizations such as AIPAC wants OUR people to adopt regardless if it makes us look dumb. How long can we carry this arrogance around?

Your first sentence is contradictory (I actually said "Bullshit" aloud when I read it). The Palestinians "freely elected" Hamas into power. Are they now considering their vote a mistake and we're just not hearing it? I'll let someone else answer that, but failing this as being the case, Hamas is the "executive" branch of the people's will, and it appears, the will of the Palestinians is to bomb the shit out of Israel. One problem - they're terribly ill equipped to do so with any efficacy. Oops.

Let's hear some stories about how upset Palestinians are with their ruling party, and how they think it was a grave mistake to start firing rockets into Israel - then we can talk about what bastards the Israelis are.

They have been warned dozens of times before. Stop shooting. They continued.

Several days ago they shot over 60 rockets in one single day.
Now they are reaping what they have sown. Their problems are their own creation.

Hamas was asking for this, or something similar. The Palestinians have a right to a State, and they have a right to resist - But that's a two edged sword. No one can expect to be peaceful when you're lobbing rockets at them. Nor can you call this a war crime, when it's a simple case of self defense.

If their slogan is "peace", one should read what both sides say to their own people
