I get it. The experiment in self government started by the authors of the Constitution, is over in your minds - and as long as the mode of operating is fucked up, lets fix everything else before we address foreign policy, foreign military sales and the budget. That's the ticket...
The point was you are singling out aid to Israel as unacceptable policy.
If your basis for this opinion is the way the aid package was brought into affect, then you SHOULD be riling against these other closed door policies in the same way.
I don't have the same issue with the legislative process. I assume the reason for the aid to Israel and any of these other countries is sound, that our leaders make the best decision they can.
If you have misgivings about the process, why single out Israel ? The country receiving the aid should not be relevant when the decision process itself is broken in your opinion.
