And there is ample evidence that Bush did nothing to prevent 9/11 despite very explicit warnings of impending airliner hijackings by terrorists. And he kept us safe?

A rare moment indeed when Shane is not trifling with us, how long will it last ? 3 ? 4 ? May I be so bold as to say 5 posts in a row ?

I hand it to Bush that he has probably "terminated" (working on my propaganda speak) more potential terrorists than Clinton the puss ever did.

I completely agree with a proactive approach to terrorism, but occupying Iraq and Afghanistan is not cost effective. It all comes down to money, everyone of us has a sad little dollar value on our lives. The two wars of occupation define idealism over sound business decisions based on give and get. There were many players but Bush was the the ultimate buck stop. He failed. Halliburton et al got a choice return though.

I can see that. I believe the word you're looking for is "inspired".

That is not a relevant point, even though those folks died. You are STILL statistically more likely to die from natural disaster than terrorism.

Are you sure? Bush's foreign policy has acted as a catalyst to embolden youth across the world to further hate America.

An entire new generation of terrorists have been spoonfed nothing but the actions of a President who acted irrationally toward them, through bombing, occupation and reckless rhetoric.

So don't bet the farm that you and your family have been kept safer due to the actions of Bushie. Odds are against that kind of sucker bet.
